Yes, therapy sessions are confidential and protected by law. Exceptions, such as safety concerns, mandated reporting, or court orders, are discussed during the informed consent process.
We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule appointments. Late cancellations and missed appointments may result in a fee, as that appointment time cannot be offered to another client.
No. Our clinicians provide treatment only and do not participate in custody disputes, court testimony, forensic evaluations, or legal advocacy as part of therapy. Therapy is not intended for legal use.
With a signed Release of Information, limited coordination of care may occur when clinically appropriate. Extensive meetings, written reports, or communications outside of therapy sessions may incur additional fees and are not typically covered by insurance.
Our team will help match you with a clinician based on your needs, availability, and preferences. If a change is needed after services begin, we will assist when possible.
